Some of you lucky friends of mine might be holding something kind of special. After carefully writing and thinking through my support letter, I couldn’t wait to send it out. Well…I might or might not have forgot to sign them. Actually I am sure I didn’t sign them. Whoops!

I just recently sent out my support letters (which read very much like this) to people I know. I am sure some people (person?!?) will be glad to hear what is going on with the trip, and I hope I can share it with them on here.  I don’t have near the support I need yet, but I am trusting it will come in time. I still feel like I am kind of going down there blind, and I am strangely okay with that.

I can’t wait to get down there. The photographer in me says I can’t wait to get down there and start shooting everything. But I know that I need to try and absorb what very little culture I can as fast as I can. I know that will help me to connect to the people of Guatemala, and hopefully cultivate better relationships (and photos). I am hoping to do some Help Portrait style thing while I am down there. I dont know how that is going to turn out though.

We will see where God leads me because I am going in blind!

I setup my GoPro to take a photo every two seconds. It makes for a TON of bad photos, but a few super cool ones. I like this approach because I know the camera is always snapping away!
